No, it's because "Rosanna" was the first single release from the album (Toto IV), and was the one I was generally listening to my freshman year of HS.

"Rosanna" is also the song that won a Grammy. 'Course, Toto IV won several. I remember that because my mother wanted Melissa Manchester to win it.

Aah, the good old days, sitting around the front parlor listening to the grammies on that new-fangled Phillips console radio with ma and pa, uncle Eb and all the cousins...

Weighing in on Angus' Boringness...  I confess to feeling that way about him, too, but then I realized that a decent, 'normal' guy would probly come across the same way in QC.  Like, what would you and/or your friends be like in a webcomic?  Without Sven-tendencies (I submit a new word, unless someone else said it first: Sventendencies) or some other questionable character traits, wouldn't a decent average guy present like this among the QC core characters?  Just askin'...

One of my earliest clear memories is watching The Real McCoys on a big old b&w television, thanks for bringing that back. :)

Mad Cat:
In about 6 months, I'm going to look back with Google's records and see a huge spike of searches for "Toto Africa" in mid-August 2010, and it'll all be this strip's fault.

Carl-E:
Probably not as big a spike as for the Alphabet Trick.

Or Tsundere...
