Hmmm... I think just "Svendencies" would flow off the tongue better. Just typing that pushed the image into my head of some stereotype Scandinavian blonde saying "He-llo. My name is Elsa; I come from Svenden."....
Carl-E:
I'm really bothered by the view of Angus as boring. The man has a quick wit, and that alone defeats teh boring.
I think it's his stubborn persistance that people are viewing as boring. People who are persistant about something are often seen as one-note by people who don't have the same focus. But come on now, without persistance, nothing gets done!

Ha! Searches for both Toto Africa AND Alphabet Trick spiked on the days they appeared in the comic.

No, it's because "Rosanna" was the first single release from the album (Toto IV), and was the one I was generally listening to my freshman year of HS.

"Rosanna" is also the song that won a Grammy. 'Course, Toto IV won several. I remember that because my mother wanted Melissa Manchester to win it.

You should see how she talks about you.
(What's scary: I actually SAW her - Melissa Manchester, you dolts - in concert at Summerfest...)

Which in turn puts me in mind of Swindon, and, of course, Diva Fever.
Can't go back to London,
Can't go back to Swindon,
Can't go back to Waterloo.
Can't go back to Debra,
Can't go back to Sheila,
Can't go back to girls like you
Hey, not just anyone can play horseshoe guitar.
