The Australia Thread
Tom:
They usually sound a little more like a dog's bark and every second word is mate/brah.

I like australia quite a bit, so much so that I'll be moving to Sydney in late january. It certainly doesn't hurt that the average wage is quite a lot higher and the standard of living tends to be better.
See you hill billies soon.

--- Quote from: est on 05 Nov 2010, 15:05 ---I dunno if it's even a real Aussie. Sounded kinda like a kiwi bunging on an Aussie accent? Or maybe it's just a dude from another part of Australia with a slightly different regional accent, I dunno.
Also, I have heard plenty of Aussies that talk exactly like that, it's just that they are usually people I don't want to associate with, like oh I don't know, the entirety of my mum's side of my family :(

I think it's just an Aussie that has been told to turn his accent up to 11.
