Convoj - "Exceptionnel" & "Convoj EP"

These guys popped up on my Pandora a few years ago and I swore to find their records. It took me some time but I finally got 'em!
Convoj hails from Sweden. They play dark melodic indie rock. Twangy tube-driven guitars that are beautifully panned with a kiss of reverb, awesome bass grooves, and great songwriting overall. If Hard-Fi met and an angrier Strokes, they would sound like Convoj. I made a folder that has their first EP (2005) and their full length Exceptionnel (2008). When I first got their EP, it was my latenight-drunk-NYC-subway-riding soundtrack. As far as I know the band has been pretty stagnant since 2009. Who cares, they rip! Enjoy!

Random Jens Lekman

A collection of random Jens Lekman songs; some appear on studio albums, some from compilations he’s released; I’ve also got tunes from EPs, singles and B-sides, live tracks and covers etc. etc. There’s about 50 in total which I’ve split into a couple of files, based on year of release, running from 2002 to 2009. Nothing from 2006 though, he must have been taking a well-deserved break that year.

Old Apparatus - Old Apparatus

--- Quote ---**Digital Exclusive - for a strictly limited time - any one who buys the FLAC version of this release will in due course be emailed with a special URL that will entitle you to a limited edition Old Apparatus foil print that will be sent to you by the label. Again - this only applies if you buy the FLAC version of this release, not the MP3. Please note that Side A and Side B each contain two tracks segued together as on the vinyl version** Dreader-than-dread dubstep abstractions from the much murmured-about Old Apparatus. Deep Medi have seriously opened the field with this 12", exploring a darkside realm of post-dubstep noise-sculpting/sound design posited somewhere in the midst of Chasing Voices, Burial and old-style Vex'd. Nobody bar the label knows who's behind it, but that only amplifies its enigmatic aura. The A-side builds from a squall of distortion into cataclysmic bassline worship sounding like Stephen O'Malley jamming with Mala while insectoid percussion etches skeletal surface patterns and the rhythm unfolds like something from the Anstam archives. The B-side is weirder still, a multi-sided geometric construction unstably morphing from ecstatic dubstep noise to Raime-like halfstep industrial dystopia, with an added welt of blackened distortion. This is f**king brilliant. Highly recommended!

Seiji - Seiji3

--- Quote ---Killer third drop on Seji's eponymous imprint finds the UK bass veteran in boisterous form. 'More Of You' staggers in on drunken sea-legged synths with balance-correcting waves of subbass lurching dancers into a taut-muscled and shark-eyed garage swing groove. Test this at peak time for deadly results! 'Sticks' on the flip is jauntier, building a dextrous rave riddim around cartoonish hooks and daft noises, kinda like a Joy Orbison beat on a double blast of Nitrous Oxide, but still with more than enough heft and learned kink to tap any ass it's deployed on. Tipped!

Starfucker - Reptilians (Demos) (2011) (320 kbps)

The vinyl orders for Starfucker got messed up and delayed. As an apology to fans, the band has released a collection of unheard demo versions of songs from their new album Reptilians. They're unproduced and lo-fi but they're still epic and awesome, and a must-have for any fan of the band.
