ysth:
I'm surprised to see Hannelore balance the tea on the sofa arm; when I do that it spills and makes a mess.

pwhodges:
Heh!  Punchline and title synergy, I guess (I thought the title was a bit weak until I saw that).  I guess Faye or Hanners could tip Marten off on the days Dora won't be there, so he could at least hang out at CoD with them - but I suppose those days would be few, as Dora being the owner tends to be there most of the time.

In the previous awkward zone, the bartender produced the clothing and hats on request - this time, it seems, the hats appeared by magic.

DSL:
Well, Marten hanging around CoD would be sneaky and would be good reason, trust issues aside, for Dora to mistrust either Hanners or Faye. 'Sides, that little rat Penelope might tell on 'em. Then again, Dora might give Faye and Hanners a pass (the D/F friendship predates the start of the whole storyline, does it not?) and this could lead to a cautious, let's-not-hate-each-other patch-up. But hey, I'm not the one tellin' the story here, am I?

Also, apropos of a food discussion up-thread, a staffel is a Luftwaffe fighter squadron. Would you trust any of this bunch with high-performance, armed aircraft?

... Consciousness stream, on ...

Although "Pugnacious Peach" would make a good nickname for a fighter or a bomber -- you know, like "Memphis Belle"?  The Americans had a bomber made by the Glenn Martin Aircraft Co.,  called the B-26 Marauder. Think about it ... a Mart(e)n Marauder ... think of the nose art ...

OK, there are other things I should be doing ...

jwhouk:
Netram Deer. I love it.

I only wish my name was that easily transposed.

DSL:
Netram Deer-in-the-headlights, is more like it.
