Norton Quintessential:
Why exactly is Hannelore saying Veronica was 'nice'?

Wraith11B:
Well, other than saying that she was completely normal to Hanner's face--which would be "nice" for Hanners to know, really (that odd case of someone that obviously genuinely believes that she's not psychotic), and ripping Marten a new one, she's been the epitome of "not mean," given the obvious comparison to her own mother, who dared her to touch the men's toilet seat at a bar.

Border Reiver:
I'm not certain that you can generate enough ridiculosity to defeat that awkward zone any time soon.

The only solution is for Marty to join the Foreign Legion - or maybe apologize, whichever's easier.

Dr. ROFLPWN:

WORD. WORD TO THIS. Man, I don't care if you think Veronica is a really flaming huge bitch, there is no way, and I mean no way she is as bad as Hanners' mother. Like....there's not even a comparison. One is kind of rude, the other is fuckin' Darth Vader in a pantsuit, all there really is to say on the matter.  Hanners probably thinks Veronica is sweetness and light.

jwhouk:
Yes, compared to Ms. Chatham, Ms. Reed is a bundle of laughs.

Probably why the two are never in the same social circles.
