i am so adamantly opposed to spoiler tags that im making a thread about it

like dudes, there is a use for a spoiler tag. you are in a thread discussing a movie or tv or book, etc., and you are posting a pivotal plot point about a movie. however, this already is kind of a moot point, cause if you dont want something spoiled just skip the wall of text or, you know, dont read the thread.
however when kids make posts with jokes hidden in spoiler tags or any other use, it is terrible. like it looks unsightly and it isnt funny (like small text can be, that is a joke here right?) i know im an ass here a lot so this probably isnt very meaningful comming to me/god sean stop trolling but seriously guys calm it down spoiler tags suck.

just relax, everybody will calm down once the novelty wears off, just like everything else.
