I thought it just turned out that a grasshopper fried itself on his motherboard?
Oh, and on the subject of today's strip: let's just say I had something similar happen to me in college.
Tetrinity:
Well, of course it did. It's college. ;)
Barely a day goes by here in my university accomodation where one guy is playing music far too loud and another guy is making humping noises through the ceiling. I'm actually fairly accustomed to it by now.

Unless Faye and Angus are doing something so incredibly debauched and filthy on that sofa that it would make even Pintsize's insides short out.
I'll just let you all have fun thinking about what that could possibly be

No, a scenario believed to be the likely cause of the Singularity has happened, and the hubbub over that one theory led the Internet to dub it "the Singularity." If the Singularity had happened, by definition, the characters' lifestyles would make little sense to us. That's kind of the idea; the Singularity is the point where things make less sense to us than our world would to Akhenaten. What has happened in this universe illustrates pretty well why I don't believe in the Singularity.

Ah, it makes sense, now.

Liking a particular character doesn't prevent me from posting analysis on his current relationship status, or why somebody might be romantically interested in him. I like his character in the comic because he works well in the QC world; I like most of the characters for this reason. He has his flaws, but so does everybody else, and I would posit that Angus has less significant flaws than most of the cast. Oddly enough, unless I'm managing to completely forget about somebody, the only regular character with less significant flaws than Angus right now is Faye; draw from that what you will.

Ah, I took that as "someone who uses UK spelling would clearly hold such a ridiculous opinion" and was very confused.
