I have a pretty strong visual memory so I get highly confused when people change their avatars. Mostly I don't know people's usernames and identify them by avatars. Most of the regular posters I still can't identify cause I haven't paired real name with photo with avatar.

That anime thing usually extends to QC characters too. I mean I'll usually read the post just to keep the context of the whole conversation going, but I tend to discount whatever it may say a bit faster.
