Help two adorable hip thirty year olds win lots of money!
squawk:
bump.
Okay, it's been a week, and I don't really know how to promote this further. Marketing is really hard :[ and my sister is getting sad. She is relying on me to gather the Youth Vote because with her own friends, "other people are getting engaged and are deciding to join the contest too, so it is really fucking annoying!" That just broke my heart.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can campaign this further? Or help me out if you are bored, I don't know...
Tom:
Stick up a flyer or two in a student lounge or common room.
KharBevNor:
leafletting, door-to-door, cold-calling, spam, junkmail, skywriting, social networking, graffiti campaign, purchasing billboards, guerilla billboard appropriation, radio spots, TV spots, Pirate radio spots, newspaper ads, sponsor a sports team, kill the wife of a famous film director and write the URL on the wall in her blood, etc.
The Seldom Killer:
$100k isn't a short amount of money and while weddings are known primarily for costing a shit-ton of cash, you could probably siphon of a bit of that. What really gets people voting is a sense of engagement. You won't be able to match the emotional engagement of things like reality shows, so basically you're down to bribery. Either use some of the cash to stump for a prize paid for out of the winnings to be raffled out to a voter or line up some of the wedding items for the same thing (veil, top hat, figurines from the top of the cake, bouquet, etc...) or if their feeling really bold, a guest of honour at the wedding who gets to cut the cake or something. The local media will get all over it and with a nudge it could go wider.
Alternatively, hire Khar as your marketing director as the dude has mad skills and tons of commitment.
Inlander:
