Someone mentioned that Padma is responding to Jim & Dora's conversation, rahter than Faye redesigning her arm, but really she's responding to Faye's observation about Jim. "Foxes?..." And it looks to me like Faye's just convincing Padma to DROP THE LADLE, LADY, AND NOBODY GETS HURT.
And I think Faye's being a wee bit sarcastic. Jim's no silver fox - the term is used for someone with a certain amount of suavity (?), and he basically guessed her age correctly by telling Dora that she doesn't look as young as the other "kids". I think most of us can agree, that's sorta the opposite of suave. His last line really didn't help, either. Clearly his idea of a "real woman" is more his age... probably not what Dora wants to hear!
On a different note, the art in the last panel is just amazing - I keep looking at the facial expressions, the body placement, the tilt of the heads, the details of postioning indicated in the clothes...
Man, he's gotten good. Like, lightyears beyond just a year or so ago.
