neat bot

I started watching this over the net about a week ago because the new local lawyers show was awful. Up to episode 9 now, and it's alright. Really over the top with certain things, from my perspective of a watcher of TV drama and a lawyer; the OMINOUS MUSIC and filters in the 'forward' scenes is kinda distracting, as are the constant close-ups of the body. It does a decent job of showing how stretched out preparing for a trial can get, miles better than something like Boston Legal where it would appear they were in trial that afternoon. It's all a bit super-conspiracy though, and it does that annoying trick where it shows you half a conversation but you in the dark about the CRITICAL PLOT DETAIL we'll reveal at the end of the episode.

Also, Rose Byrne is distractingly attractive.  There's all kinds of genetic lotteries being won there. And I've liked Glenn Close in TV drama since her season on The Shield.

It's up to season 4 and (despite the bot's best efforts), no longer on FX.  Do you plan on catching up or do you not like it enough to go past season 1?

I finished s1 and it's pretty good, really. I wouldn't mind if they toned down the everybody getting killed thing, but watching s1 unravel was pretty good.
I don't think it's even being broadcast down here on Prison Island, including on cable. I'll try to keep up though.
