It would be interesting to check for the correlation between the search positioning of "ebony" and say percentage of population that was black or white, and Latitude. I'm doing a statistics class now, and I do have access to the correct software, so if you are really interested, send me some data. It would probably be necessary to see where those search terms are in each state, even if the term is below 10.

What confuses the fuck out of me is that the Czech Republic has "castrated shemale" as a higher search-result than just "shemale". What. The. Fuck.

Also interracial porn can be some of the most racist porn I've ever seen, so I wouldn't interpret it as something progressive at all. I actively avoid it because it's so stupid.

And <3 Norway. Such sweet results. "7) Massage, 8) Swedish".

I laughed out loud when I saw Finland. Oh, Finland. Skwisgaar approves.

Peru, it's okay.. Just come out of the closet already..

Sorry, I was unclear because I was in a hurry, and probably also not taking into account that many of you are outside of the US.

I was noticing that states in the south which are notorious for being racist seem to be searching for a lot of 'ebony' porn.  There seems to be a correlation between which side of the civil war a state was on and whether 'ebony' appears on the list.  The argument against this being motivated by racism is that southern states also have larger (by %) populations of African-Americans.  However, I was noticing that northern states with similar ratios do not have 'ebony' on their list, suggesting that it is not just people looking for porn featuring people that look like them, but is linked to the geographic location.

The chart (which I should have labeled is:
state name  | % of population who identified as African-American on the last Census | the position on the top ten of the search term 'ebony'.

So in Arkansas 15 % of the population identifies as African American and 'ebony' is the most searched for term, compared to New York where 15% of the population identified as African-American and the term 'ebony' does not appear on the top ten.  I was suggesting that this means whites in the south are searching for pornography of black women, and further suggesting this might be linked to racist attitudes, unless there is data to show that the distribution of internet users by race by state is uneven, which is a thing I can look up in 3 hours, after I submit this application.

Edit:

It does not seem to be a thing I can look up.  I can tell you that nationwide African-Americans are less likely to have internet access, particularly broadband access, but I can't find that information divided by state.

China seems to like Japanese and Chinese porn fairly equally, but will consider Korean at a pinch.
South Korea likes Korean, Chinese, and Japanese in that order, but also has a big thing for scat...  :-o
Japan likes Japanese.

They like them some chicks with dicks...but not balls, apparently. Don't let them see any tanuki porn.

Also, Why does Ukraine like raincoats so much? Is there a hidden meaning that I'm overlooking somewhere?

Okay, a certain fave webcomic of mine is going through a little NSFW binge for the time being. However, it appears that one of the "supporting cast" has appeared in another webcomic.

This webcomic's current episodic arc involves time travel, so there was an obvious tie-in there.

However, I suddenly put two-and-two together when TMO mentioned the cameo on Twitter in something called "Cesium Comics".

Thomas M. Overbeck, he of Times Like This (Warning! Comics have been/will be of a NSFW nature in the recent past/immediate future!).

Cesium used the character of Agent Keith Scott, FBI Time Investigation Division.

The link in the spoiler describes what it leads to.

As for the thing itself, I am completely mystified.  What were they thinking of, really?
