That's a designation I use for her, not a username or her real name. /.../

Ceres is the Roman name for Demeter, Ceres protected transitions of women from girlhood to womanhood, from unmarried to married life and motherhood. So there's me being a cheeky mythology nerd there. It also has a slightly verbal dual meaning because it's just a little off of the name of the character she was cosplaying as when I met her.

Seras ^^

Why yes I do think I'm quite clever. Thank you!

So.. are you two open for like a poly thing..

It'd make a fine name for someone, though. I like it. Also already knew the meaning, so I figured she might've chosen it. I'm a sucker for meaningful names.

I might also only be half-joking

wow that's dark.

I've never actually cosplayed before but there's a few people I *would* really like to cosplay as - Captain Jack Sparrow, Envy from Full Metal Alchemist, and Vriska (see: avatar) all land pretty highly on the list.

Person wearing shirt with boob-socks.

I can understand that in some garments, but that shirt not so much.

I did not realize that homestuck cosplay was a thing.

Then I googled it.

I am in awe.

Is there a rule 34 for cosplay or something?

(Because if there is I want to see it.)

It's become such a thing that other fandoms are complaining about it. Someone on twitter said he ruined anime conventions, and I love it.

Who can decode it?

I don't quite get what a furry in a Union Jack bikini has to do with the Battle of Trafalgar...

If Nelson had not won at Trafalgar, that furry would have been wearing a Tricoleur bikini!

Is there a rule 34 for cosplay or something?

I think the question "Is there a Rule 34 for [something]?" is redundant.

Or it's a far more interesting interpretation of what one's duty is when faced with a hottie in a patriotic bikini fur or no.

Note: Calling for a bayonet charge when going to bed with a woman is ONLY acceptable with a VERY specific kind of individual*

There needs to be a thread of mtmerrick-based misunderstandings. >_<

What I meant by that was "I wonder if there is a rule - like rule 34 - that says 'if it exists,  there is cosplay of it' because that'd be awesome."

I guess if the medal is just "good job at being a decent human being"

I mean, I do SCA, and that is a place where the ladies will put their boobs up on a shelf right out there, and aside from a quick glance about their person it is remarkably easy to look someone in the eyes when you are talking to them.

Yeah it is odd at first, talking to a completely naked lady with whom you are not intimate. But I got used to it quickly.

Then again I just like naked bodies and have a problem with staring at... basically anyone.

In my culture physical violence is how you know she likes you. Marriage proposals involve getting your mates together to attack her village and burn her father's hut.

Why do I suddenly want coffee?

And no Irish/German, remember some women say it with words and little gestures, a true colleen says it with a thrashing via her fists and forehead. How I met my ex-wife as it happens.
