That isn't even original or something.

Well yeah, no surprise there. I think that's from an episode where Finn gets special powers and can suddenly see all this stuff? I forget.

he dons the glasses of nerdicon and instantly knows everything (scienctifcly speaking) and creates a 4th dimensional shadow to try and impress PB at the science conference. It backfires and the adventure happens.  Also it shows a large chunk of the earth has been blown off (probably from the mushroom wars).

The first pic I understand entirely, and it's actually a nice demonstration of how rotor assemblies work if you look carefully.

The second pic broke my brain for a second there. Bad photoshop.

http://www.geekologie.com/2012/04/get-back-in-the-water-hovering-boat-opti.php

Probably not a 'shop. Might be, though.

Actually, for me that link shows that it is shopped.  In the second photo in the link, you see the hull of the boat in the clear water, but in the first one, you don't - you see a line cropped to look like a water line.  Also, you see no sign of ripples around the boat.  Finally, if the boat's shadow is so clear, where is the shadow of the swimmer?

Mind you, I find the angle of the boat in the second link unconvincing too, and also the part of the boat under the water doesn't have any distortion from the waves like the shadow below has - so I reckon that's shopped too.

The silly thing is that it's probably possible to get a startling enough picture along those lines in real life, which would actually be more impressive.

Those were my thoughts exactly. I based my assumption off the fact that the anchor line isn't visible from the moment it hits the water, mostly, and the lack of other shadows.

Actually it is, with the marked change of apparent angle that you'd expect; that was something that made me hesitate for a moment.

...which is what convinced me it's real.  Also, the swimmer's shadow is right below the swimmer, but being much smaller, the shadow's more diffused by the water, and well  hidden by the bright spots of reflected sun.

In the second pic from the link, you'll notice that the side of the hull's cut straight off by the calm water, except at the stern which has a drastically different angle.  The water's doing the same thing in the original posted one, cutting the view of the hull at the water's edge (this is a very flat-bottomed type boat, which helps that to happen).

It's just what happens on an incredibly bright day in incredibly clear water.  I find it interesting that people are more comfortable assuming it's elaborately photoshopped...

Only looks photoshopped because light refraction is fun :-D  Also, you can see the guy sitting on the edge of the boat, his feet are in the water.
