I used to rub the bridge of the cats nose.  their jaw would go slack and make the purring sounds like a snotty wheeze. was adorable.

Back when I was in high school I was in a summer program for science students at the local university, and we had students from all over Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia. One weekend in July we went to a ski resort in Pennsylvania. As we arrived at the ski resort, one girl from Baltimore was looking all around and said, "This is a ski resort, right?" "Yeah." "Where's all the snow?"

I got fed up with it may before that; I just couldn't take Light's sod-you-all self-righteousness.  He turned to the dark side, and retained no redeeming characteristics to my mind.

Up until now I was not aware the US Digimon theme had any actual lyrics. I thought it was just a bunch of guys shouting "Digimon Monsters".

Now please excuse me while I go listen to the beauty that is the German version of "Biggest Dreamer".

Someone please explain to me why this is funny. I suppose the joke is that there wasn't any snow in July? Why would you go to a ski resort then?

She wasn't going to ski; she just assumed (through ignorance) that "ski resorts" have snow at street level and skiing all the year round.  Ignorance is funny, right?

The setting of many ski resorts makes them attractive resorts in the summer, often linked to nearby golf courses.
