Dora, in my opinion, isn't the most sensitive or bright of the characters, I dislike her maybe a little less than I dislike Faye, so not terribly surprising.

I was at one point convinced I was like Dora. Very dark time.

To be honest, I don't find Dora to be all that bad.  She's got some serious issues, one of which is putting herself into a victim's mindset, but she does have a few admirable qualities as well.  One of them is her ability to ignore her insecurities, and plow on ahead anyway!

Not that it always works...

NotAwesomeAnymore:
Haha, I do actually quite like Dora. But... She's just not the person you want to identify with. Especially when Faye ran in and was like, "You need therapy!" and I was like, "No I don't!"

I have since learned not to project myself onto the comic, and the person that convinced me I had any of those issues was, in fact, the issue. #TMIsoz But also I think a lot of the Dora hate comes from people who identify more with Marten and feel the need to defend him. Edit: I also think that point has been made  :-P

Yeeeaaaaaah, definitely not the way you want to identify with her.

Glad things are (getting) better!
