The label understandably compare his sound with the fury of classic UR tracks like 'Riot' or 'The Punisher', but there's also a distinct seam of sussed Chicago jack in there too, referencing the likes of Tyree's 'Video Crash' or Steve Poindexter's 'Work That Mutha F*cker'. Essentially it's their raw and direct effect that warrant those comparisons, from the oozing sewer synths and riddimic ructions of 'Theme From Slakk' to his outstanding "Eski-House" tribute to Wiley on 'Fire Flies'. This guy doesn't f**k about, and his debut is one of the most scintillating dancefloor efforts we've heard all year.
