So, here's two of the albums I mentioned a few posts ago (FINALLY!)...
Hüsker Dü - "Flip Your Wig"

Pretty amazing that this was the second full-length album that the band released in 1985 (the other being "New Day Rising"), even more so when you realise it arrived only a year after their double-album "Zen Arcade." This is probably, song-for-song, the most consistently enjoyable and accessible Hüsker Dü album I've heard so far (bearing in mind I've yet to hear "New Day Rising," or the EPs that preceded "Zen Arcade"), if you ignore the random filler track "The Baby Song." This was their last recording for the SST label before moving to a major label for their final two albums, and it benefits from a slightly better production job and poppier songwriting than before. Seriously good album!
Biffy Clyro - "The Vertigo of Bliss"

This, Biffy Clyro's second album, and the only of theirs yet to be uploaded in this thread (until now) is, for me at least, their equal best album (along with it's follow-up "Infinity Land"). Imagine a weird cross-breeding of Fugazi, Helmet, Foo Fighters, with some indie-pop and early-Weezer leanings, and a strong experimental/progressive streak. If you're familiar with the band through their most recent effort (the excellent, but very different-to-their-older-stuff "Puzzle"), this is definitely worth checking out, regardless of whether you enjoyed "Puzzle" or not.
