One of the coolest albums I've ever heard. Concept album. It tells the story of a man who betrays the devil and the devil goes on a rampage trying to get even. Meant to be listened to all the way through. Very dark. I haven't heard another band that sounds like them. Saw them live. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

No i didn't misspell it that's the way they do. Hauntingly beautiful music full of cello. Some may consider it depressing but meh. Carissa's Wierd is made up of members that went on to form grand archives and band of horses. I wish they would have stuck with this sound not to downplay the new bands which are good but this is so much better for me. Very slept on band. First two tracks are amazing.
