Dexter will end season 8?
« on: 19 Nov 2011, 03:06 »

Go read; http://www.deadline.com/2011/11/showtimes-david-nevins-seasons-7-and-8-of-dexter-will-be-likely-shows-last/

I actually hope dexter ends season 8 because if they do it properly it would be a good 'finished' series that people can be proud and content with.
As for dexter... Would he get caught or would he commit suicide or flee or would he turn normal?

I'm hoping for nothing of the above because they all sound idiotic. I think Dexter would turn normal and go on the hunt one last time and get killed by his victim. Which won't happen because they choose to opt for the possibility of more seasons!

Yeah, two more seasons and it's done.  Sadly I do think Dexter will end up being "normal"

One storyline from the books that I wish they'd go with is a cult that believes Dexter's "dark passanger" is a demon and end up worshiping him. But they've gone pretty far from the books as Rita is still alive and I think they had a daughter, so yeah Showtime has taken some creative license.
