Hey guys i've been lurking this thread for a few years, i really hated that it only got to five pages in 2012. I'm going to try to make it a habit to upload a few albums here every month or so to not see this thread die.

this album got a lot of award nominations and press in 2012 because shortly before its release frank came out as bisexual, which isn't something you often see in the hip-hop music world. I like the album because it actually lives up to all of the talk surrounding it. It's more R&B than hip-hop anyway, and start to finish it's an incredible fuckin' album, whether you're into dudes, girls, or other.
I spooner'd the name, maybe it will take longer for MF to find and delete. Has anyone else noticed that they've really started closing down full album links?

I'll get back to thinking about this seriously when I have a little more time. Meanwhile, I would say that this thread has never been intended as a way to find stuff (there are whole sites - and associated lawsuits - dedicated to that), but as a way to offer stuff to others to intrigue or interest them. It is deliberately kept low-key to avoid attracting attention, and this will not change because the forum as a whole is ultimately linked to the comic - the music is a side interest and cannot be allowed to risk compromising the forum. How much interest there is in its contents depends on who's contributing at the time, and on who's looking.
