*It would be interesting if we knew what was outside the walls or at least know if a rovering band of renegades attacked the society in the past or something and so they have the military class. Hell even if there wasn't one, making one up to make the population believe there is a threat, just so they can establish control, would suffice.
*The Military/Cop class had no formal law enforcement training, just PT and live fire exercise with one wargame of capture the flag. No "these are the laws we enforce, and here is how we train against known threats" (see above).
*The Military Cop Class also had no discipline nor formal military training and was more like how folklorish barbarians train. Just replace survival training with parkour, yeah that'll work if we need to send patrols out of the walls to secure the farmland.
*So was the Woman in the blue the only one behind all this? The serum seemed like it would need to be developed, tested, and manufactured in secret, but many people would need to have their hands in it to do so. Even the ruling caste.
*I am confused on the need for a diplomat caste if they do not have contact with any other societies. Or did I completely misunderstand the blue Caste?
*So being Divergent means you can't be controlled, so they euthanize you? I think one of the characters can safely explain that no, they can be controlled quite well.
*Its awfully weird that the training commanders were not informed that they now have a wash out program.
*Who is making/fixing/installing all this technology? Is there a Caste that I missed? Is it just old tech from before the mushroom war?
*They spent a lot of time on the Military/Cop caste in this movie, which is why I am scrutinizing it, but wow, compared to the other castes we see, its just so disorganized for a military/law enforcement entity.
*What was the crazy guy and his two goons trying to do to the Tris? It seemed rapey but to me it seemed like maybe they just wanted to torture her to find out how to pass phase 2.
