Hannelore isn't entirely correct.  She did sort of flirt with that poor guy she gave the Smile of Doom to. http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1399

Funny, I always took Marigold for a Linkin' Park girl myself

I don't suppose suggesting MariBear be herself would help at this stage.  She really should have brought Momo with her.

oh man does EV training suck, betcha francis does something to mess it up. what stat you think marigold is training?

Knowing Marigold, probably something aggressive. So, Attack or Special Attack. Dragonite has a high Attack base, so that should fit, and its Special Attack is quite decent, too. She could be going for a Hurricane or Hyper Beam Dragonite, perhaps, and then SA is important.

Marbear, the poet's wisdom is peerless, and you would do well to keep further verses from this sonnet in mind when considering your suitor's state of mind. Observe:

Quote from: The noted poet whom Station references in today's comic

Shorty crunk, so fresh, so clean.
Can she pump? That question been harassing me, in the mind
This bitch is fine
I done came to the club about 50-11 times
Now can I play with your panty line?

Further stanzas might advise you on how to exploit this to your advantage, Marigold dear. It all depends on whether you can, in fact, twerk it. Can you twerk it, Marigold? Do you dare to attempt such?

Not to denigrate the poet here, but I think Station is in this for the lulz.

Momo not being there probably has a simple explanation. She couldn't get time off work, or at the very least didn't feel comfortable asking for time off so soon after starting her first job.

Tiny nitpick: was Hannelore always taller than Mari?

Also, there was a comic where a CoD customer attempted to flirt with Hannelore, and she fulfilled the mean barista requirement without even trying...no idea how to go through the archive.

Has Jeph ever considered // has anyone ever volunteered to meta-tag the archive?

So, how much longer can this go on?

FOREVER! They'll all move up to the space station and live HAPPILY EVER AFTER.     10 (15.4%)
We wouldn't have any more AnthroPC hijinks, though.     2 (3.1%)
One of the group will stay up at the station and have "a reasonable number of babies".     15 (23.1%)
This is the last week, guys. Really.     1 (1.5%)
Hannerdad will make the BIG REVEAL on Friday - "You were cloned, Hanners."     6 (9.2%)
...or something like that.     15 (23.1%)
This week will be "Meanwhile, back planetside..."     2 (3.1%)
MOAR SPATHE HAMMM!!!!     2 (3.1%)

Here ya go. And thanks for reminding me of one of my all-time favorite Hanners moments. I would have loved to plant a bug in her ear about the subjective nature of enjoyment, and how the senses play off one another. (And now I'm imaging how she would react to the phrase "bug in her ear.")

Last January, the developer of Tapatalk said in their forums that poll support is planned, but he can't yet put a date on it.

I saw the poll, then I saw the first 5 words of your post, and I immediately though "Dynamite"
Back on topic: I can't imagine holding my hands like that after washing. If my hands are still wet, the water runs down my sweatshirt sleeves, and it they're dry, I would be using them for something already.

I do, but only up to about my elbows. Holding my hands vertically makes the elbow the lowest point water would go, so that's where it ends up. Of course, I really could solve the entire issue by not wearing a sweatshirt every day, but that's too much work.

A disturbing observation courtesy of the /co/mrades at 4chan:

Quote
They are in a women's restroom.

Station is able to communicate with them, suggesting he has some means of observational sensors in place to detect their location and respond.

In the bathroom.

Station is watching you pee.

Then again, he did ask Hanners once if she was decent and if he could appear in her room, so maybe the visual perception in "privacy" zones like bathrooms and bedrooms is linked to the hologram, and audio stays active for monitoring purposes in case he's called-upon...

So... he's just listening to you pee?

Unless it's a system that functions on voice-recognition - i.e., it really actively starts listening once it's spoken to. Hanners does, after all, say "Station!" before it responds to her.

For the continued safety of station occupants and the efficient operation of the station, Station monitors all aspects of station function and operations at all times.

To allow the human occupants of the station to go about their business without freaking out, Station maintains strict privacy protocols, i. e. he doesn't pop in on you while you're peeing or when you are alone in your quarters unless you request his assistance, there is an emergency, or he just really, really feels like it.

It's a polite fiction, but after a few days you don't even notice the constant presence of the all controlling Artificial Intelligence.

It also works well because, let's face it, Marigold is very white and nerdy :P

Interestingly enough, Marigold seems to self-loathe for being antisocial and incapable of getting a boyfriend, yet paradoxically refuses to believe that anyone could see her as attractive. I think that our science man accidentally made exactly the right approach there, since outright asking her would probably have caused her to freak out again.

Marigold, like Hanners, still has some issues - mostly dealing with self-confidence and self-image, but she is a lot better than the shut-in she was when we first met her.  She still lacks confidence and is still a little socially awkward, but she's definitely improved.

I think he actually suits her.
