It isn't being flagged by Chrome on my computer. Apparently a bunch of webcomic sites have been having that problem over the past couple days, though.

Typically it's because of an advert link that they got fed; it happened to QC about a year ago.

It was definitely an official, metal sign posted outside of the building. There was a door nearby, maybe it was describing the contents of that room. I don't think the fire department would appreciate that joke either.
