Meh, there are all kinds. I bet there are some that do.
I also bet there are atheists going to satanic meetings, or Satanists going to church, or x's going to congregations of y's for the same reason.

Who said anything about atheists? I was thinking of people who identify as Christian but don't otherwise care enough to go to church. I guess that wasn't really clear though, my bad.
Also, I thought the website was putting that out as a scenario as something not to do.

It was. Because it's something that some people do. Rarely atheists, though - usually believers looking for others of a similar mindset.
