Sometimes a synonym is not really a synonym. Jack London's "The Call of the Wild" would not have had the same ring to it had it been titled "The Call of Nature".

I noticed that if you swap around the languages, a "consummate lover" is almost the same as a "complete amateur".

I was just called a traitor, accused of sedition and slander, an a 'Murrica hating terrorist sympathizer and a stain on the honor of the U.S. Marines. So I am now advertising for a new Communist country to take me in. Must have hot chicks, strong booze, decent internet and be actively plotting the downfall decadent West.
Now someone fetch me the cosmoline.
