I was also referring to the idea that someone who doesn't think it needs to be anything deeper than "just sex" is jumping every person who happens to walk by and implying that they do so with no concern about sexual health. While it can be a humorous observation to make, it's a pretty shitty and shaming tone to take to someone's sexual life.

Basically I'm saying that slut shaming is not okay.

Omega Entity:
All it was was my personal thoughts on the matter. But I should have learned from other forums here that personal thoughts and opinions aren't okay to have, if other people think differently. Pot, meet kettle.

Personally, I blame my Seventh-Day Adventist upbringing for a lot of my hang-ups.

Different opinions are fine. Barmymoo believes in God, wants more meaningful sex than casual for herself and has morally based (correct me if that's wrong) dietary restrictions.

I'm a fairly hard line atheist, am okay with having both meaningful and non meaningful sex and find there to be no moral issue with eating meat.

These differences are fine, but part of the reason I enjoy this forum, is people can call each other out for making callous involving slut shaming, casual racism/sexism and the like and not be seen as some kind of "white knighter" by most. It's a good system that usually gets people to at least consider the content of their posts in the long run.

All that ^

Plus, there's a difference between having an opinion about what you want your sex life to be like and judging other people for doing things that don't impact upon you at all.
I freely admit that you've not outright judged anyone for their sexual practices, but you've got awfully close. Do whatever you want with your own life, and feel free to share that with us - we're here to talk, after all, and that's an interesting topic - just be careful to not make it seem like people are doing something wrong by acting in ways that you don't personally enjoy.

True.  The first statement was, "I  never understand girls who...", not a judgement that they shouldn't.  The followups were explanations of what OE thinks.

So, a little gentle mind expansion is certainly in order, but no pouncing is warranted.
