--- Quote from: Welu on 12 Apr 2012, 01:20 ---Hanging a sock or tie on the door is a known thing to do in places like dorms to let others know you got stuff goin' on so when the trailer's a rockin, don't come-a knockin'.
--- End quote ---
This. I never thought it odd, it was the norm at my college and most any other college I've heard of; it's an article of clothing that has no reason whatsoever to be on a doorknob, so it can't be mistaken for anything else.
--- End quote ---
Same here, I always thought it to be stereotypical "college student behaviour", though I don't know how many actual socks I ever saw on doorknobs. (Thin walls - just listen at the door, guys!)
Method of Madness:
They didn't seem to notice when Marten and Hanners went in, why didn't they just close the door and leave?
(As for the sock on the door, I commuted to school :( )
Bastion:
Today's comic has killed me. I am deceased and in the grave from how hard I have laughed. This is a spectral message.
Dr. ROFLPWN:
A wild WIENER appeared!
Marigold used TOUCH!
It's super effective!
Mad Cat:
I truly think that Marigold's expression in the last panel is the single, best expression Jeff's ever drawn, and you can barely see it.
If the dorm's a rockin'... tell the asshats in Seismology to knock it off. Also, how is that sock on a doorknob gag supposed to work on a space station where all of the doors are Star Trekian in nature with simple push button open and close mechanisms?
How does one transition from "tough[ing] his weiner" to a simple slobberfest, fully clothed make out? I would think that if there was to be any transition between those two, it would be from the latter to the former.
