-5 / + 6 here, people who try on my glasses tend to cry out in pain and shock. =(
I've always attributed my terrible right eye to being hit in the eye with a hammer as a child. We thought it was fun to throw the hammer in the air. It was. Up to a point*.
*That being the point where I got hit in the eye and had to be taken to hospital to have my eyelid pulled out from above my eyeball.

I didn't even wear glasses (except for the movies and sometimes for tv) until I had some eye probs in my early 20s. I ordered contacts a few years ago. They messed up and sent me -20s. I couldn't see anything past an inch from my eye, however... my nose was in perfect focus.
There are some things that should never be seen clearly. *shudder*

--- Quote from: snubnose on 27 Apr 2012, 04:41 ---I would assume glasses like that would be highly unpractical for Marigold, since she cannot read any Mangas with such glasses.
They would manga-fy the Mangas ... the results would probably be horrible ...

No, the manga would be so mangaed it would be demangaed.
So it'd look like an Alex Ross book.
