I remarried when I was 45 to a 38-year-old, and we discussed having a child (it didn't happen, but the reason is private).

Always thought it was weird the dating range for a thirty year old (according to the comic) was 22 (-8) to 46 (+16)... somewhere his math got a life of it's own. oO

22 is half +7 (30/2+7), and thirty is at the minimal range for 46 year olds (46/2+7).
Carl-E:
I've gotten to the point where half my age plus seven seems around the age I feel.
But of course, none of the cultural references would make sense in either direction... such a woman would only know my TV references from Nick at Night.

Feh, I've known women my age who could not identify with my TV references. Being 1/2+7 my age could not help that.
And who made this formula, it doesn't work in reverse for me. I'm 44. That implies I'm still viable for a 74 year old on the prowl. I don't think so.

--- Quote from: jmucchiello on 11 May 2012, 04:57 ---Since when does Faye play with a knife at COD? She hasn't done it before. Why is she doing it now? Has she been waiting to a have an impressionable youth before engaging in this behavior? I don't get it. Perhaps something is going on with her. But I suspect no one is going to call her on it. I also don't see how neither Dora or Jim are reacting to her playing with the knife.
(And where is the rest of the COD staff?)
--- End quote ---
It's stated in the news post that it's a training knife, not a real one. Real butterfly knives are actually quite illegal in a number of states (and if not in the state itself, in a number of cities and jurisdictions).
