My bad, of course it isn't. Sometimes making things simpler can be an improvement.
I put that in quotation marks because I couldn't come up with a better term...
"Adjust to marketability concerns"? "Simplify to appeal to wider audience"? Its hard to find terms that don't sound like synonyms of "to reduce" here...
(I love the English language... but sometimes its a pain. °O )
