From the looks her co-interns are giving her in Panel 4, seems like the redhead just isn't wound a little tight, but has that reputation to match. Who knows: maybe she's a go-getter, focused on her career as an MLS / MLIS, and will be a challenge and contrast to our Noble Hero and Perennial Slacker. It's not like the ONLY REASON a female character shows up is to be a love interest.
The last bit of QC Dump #39 on Tumblr -- Jeph saying "I have Plans for her" and the redhead saying "I don't like the sound of that" bodes well for the future. :-D

At least Notebook Intern didn't use the Silmarillion.
Redhead Intern can match her actions to the situation, which not everyone can. She fought back quickly when she thought she was in a fight, cooled off immediately when she discovered she wasn't.

All we know is that Tall-and-Skinny is quiet. That doesn't necessarily mean she's dumb.

Unless you're one of those people who think recreational drug use of the illegal variety constitutes as stupid. But intelligent people can make stupid choices.
Though she may be labeled a slacker, due to her original 'Permission to get high as hell and watch Adventure Time' question, while there for the purpose of getting training for a job related to her field of study.

Well, we know they only serve friggin' lattes on wednesdays, maybe they have other friggin' variants on other days. Or maybe he'll go to tSB - they might serve friggin' coffees all the time.
