I feel like we've had this discussion about three thousand times already. :-\

As somebody who regularly watches NCIS when Channel 10 in Australia can be bothered to run it, I'm actually quite okay with head-slapping. As Gibbs puts it, a slap in the face is an insult. A slap in the face is a wake-up call.

Besides which, minor physical violence seems to be a highly effective way of conveying disapproval in comic strips. :P

I recall reading something about that.

Yeah, I'm experiencing a failed recall of emotion right now. It's three stops down from Bitter Recriminationville.

I dunno. All those nice thick reference books on the shelf and she uses a spiral composition book? 40-50 pages max?Well, maybe it was for the ease of deployment.

Black Sword:
That's very odd. If red's a graduate student, shouldn't she be very appreciative of the value of coffee? Then again, we have tall-and-skinny demonstrating that intelligence is not a requirement for grad students.

I should note that recalls should only be used in the case of serious breaches of public faith and morality, or in cases of extreme incompetence. It was a waste of money all around, and patience and good planning for the next election cycle would have been better ways to approach the matter.
