Still pissed Doctor Who and Monty Python never got proper respect in the Olympic Opening. All we got was a brief TARDIS F/X and Basil Fawlty. THATS IT!!

Poll support is planned, but no timescale has been given.

Well, the Silly Olympiad is held every 3.7 years, so it doesn't coincide. I've been in training for the "100 yards for people with no sense of direction" event.

Actually, the person who is mauled first wins the gold medal.

The training is quite similar to the being eaten by a crocodile event.

Edit: Hmmm I think there are some transcription errors in there.... (this also gives me a chance to quote one of my favourite bits).

Loothesom: Gavin, does it ever worry you that you're actually going to be chewed up by a bloody great crocodile?
Morolowe: The only thing that worries me, Jim, is being the first one down that gullet.

Gee, you think maybe it might accidentally slip from, say, Emily's mouth about Dora?

Or about Marten talking to Dora about Tai?

Nah. What do you think this is, a situation-comedy or something?

Also, whats with the front page? Many of the side links are blacked out.

Okay, this new scheme?  Ew.

EDIT: I should point out that when I wrote this, the background was the same hot pink as the title.  I don't especially mind it now, with the greyish-purple background that I can't find a name for, since there's nothing especially close in X11 (or remotely close on the CGA).

EDIT2: ...and when I made that edit, it was an indescribable purplish-grey (#623c4d) rather than the more standard aubergine it is now.  I could still get used to this, although I think I liked that one better.

While it doesn't really bother me too much once i got over the shock of the scheme change, frankly I prefer the old blue background. I still find this new aubergine-like background, black borders and bright pink larger letters scheme a bit two distracting. The blue and grey with smaller dull orange letters allowed the eyes to clearly concentrate on the comic and in general i liked it's simplicity, mind you this new one is also comparatively minimalist in nature versus some other webcomics.

I just have one slight problem with the new design. Links I've clicked are a darker shade now, opposed to the old orange, where it was the UNclicked links that were darker. I expect I'll get used to the switch soon enough though.

I like the new design! The logo looks so-so to my eyes though. I couldn't tell if the design is changed or just the color but I simply think it just doesn't look very appealing.

It's different, I'll grant you that. The burgundy sides do look pretty good, but they should re-colour the links so that they stand out more. The logo? Nah, I don't think it suits the feel of the site.

I am not planning to change the theme here to match...

Thank effing goodness for that!

I dunno about Emily being the one to let the news slip. Claire might also be a good contender, I think.

  • That's a smashing blouse. FELLA!

I'm not a fan of pink but I saw on Twitter he was planning on changing the site so it wasn't as jarring as it could have been. I'm happy with it. The comic is still the main focus so I'm happy enough. I like the sides. The only thing is the blocky logo doesn't quite suit the site to me but that's just nit-picking.

I really like Claire's hair in this comic. I also like the composition and posing of the characters in the last panel. It's those little angle changes that really make me like this comic.

I like the new design. I actually noticed it after I had read today's comic...

And I can't handle it if Dora and Tai are going to be all awkward about this whole thing. Once again, Jeph has the power to make his fans yell "why". In the meantime, omf gromf homf.
