pwhodges:
My wife will tell you the story of hitching a lift with her friend at university who for the whole journey had a scalpel hidden between her breasts for "security". The knife is bigger than that, but then so is Faye bigger than the friend.
Pilchard123:
Did she stab herself with it? That sounds like it could have gone fairly badly.

--- Quote from: Mr_Rose on 09 Oct 2012, 03:21 ---I think the looks in the last panel are less "whoa, she's got a knife" and more "where the hell did that come from?"
After all, she's wearing a tank top and figure hugging jeans; there's not much hiding space there. Unless its internal; more support for my "she's part robot" hypothesis, no?
--- End quote ---
She could just as easily had some stashed away in Angus' car. But then, nothing would really surprise me about Faye.
I say "some" because a real prepared sportsman would never just carry one...
Tai Fanboi:
--- Quote from: akronnick on 09 Oct 2012, 01:36 ---In some states, the sign will say "no outlet" in others, it's "dead end."
Each state has its own little quirks and style to the way they administer traffic regulation.
--- End quote ---
I know here in my state we use both, but the "no outlet" is usually reserved for residential areas with multiple roads in a neighborhood, but no access out of the "neighborhood" unless you get back on the road you came in on. Dead End is usually one street that ends in a cul de sac or just ends.
And yes, I've done the same as Faye on "less then kosher" road trips. I usually carry my Jayne Cobb bowie knife though.
Border Reiver:
I prefer my Russell Boat Knife, but that looks like a serious knife Faye's got there.
Although if she was truly prepared for that she'd have a shotgun in her bag with a deer barrel and a mix of slug and buckshot. And a satellite phone to contact local law enforcement.
