(click to show/hide)Me too!  Although, Maz Kanata aside (and speaking of, I'm still appalled that Lupita Nyong'o's character was both cgi and had such a small role, but that's a discussion for later), there didn't seem to be many (or any?) other alien women...

(click to show/hide)I hope we find out more about Snoke in Episode VIII. Just how powerful is he?

My guess is this:

(click to show/hide)In the Extended Universe (EU) books and graphic novels, long before the Sith Order as we know it, there was a Sith Empire controlled by a humanoid but non-human species native to the planet Korriban. The Korribanite Sith Empire was annihilated at around the time of the the formation of the Old Republic, about 30,000 years before present (the so-called 'hyperspace wars'). Even if that hadn't happened, they were on a slippery slope to extinction; the violent and selfish nature of Sith teachings and the use of the Dark Side led to near-constant coups, internecine blood-lettings and civil wars. Korriban itself suffered innumerable orbital bombardments and only fragments and small artefacts of their civilisation as it was on their homeworld survived to the present.

However several very large Sith artefacts, such as their droid starship manufactuary, the Star Forge, survived far longer as they were hidden in deep space, away from well-travelled hyperspace routes. If such large artefacts could survive, why not a few of the race too?

It is my guess that Snoke is a Korribanite. The last of the First Order of the Sith.

Method of Madness:
Man, that's some KotOR shit. I approve. Especially since Kylo Ren's mask reminded me of Revan.
