It's possible that Gareth was the vigilante. I still think he might have been - we might be memorialising him in death, but do you remember him? Alive, he was absolutely unhinged! He threatened to kill all of us! Did you see what he did to that bear? He was certainly crazy enough to go start killing people.

And if that's the case, thank god. Who knows when he might have turned on any of us?

Pat's a friend of mine, and if he says he's been at work - which you all know he has a full schedule of working, singing, playing guitar, and making mistakes with pretty girls - then I believe him. I vote no lynch.

That's kind of why I'm surprised the mafia went for him first - he'd have been great for deflecting suspicion during the day, unless he was (or strongly suspected of being) the vigilante.  In that case, they did us all a favor.

(not pertinent to the game, but holy shit, the no edit rule is making it so hard for me to not correct the typos I made in that last post.  The only reason they're still there is because I'm trying my best not to scratch the itch.  I swear that my typing is not usually so poor).

What would be the best way of investigating this mess? Maybe we should gather our resources and act as detectives and start PM:ing people.. the problem is that the mafia has no outstanding characteristics we could go on.

Are we allowed to just flat out say which role we have?

The thing is, the cops shouldn't reveal themselves, they'll get hit right away.  Neither Mafia for the vigilante will reveal themselves either, of course, and the masons are the only other ones who can coordinate anything - I'm still not sure what role they really play except for being a group that knows its members aren't anything else (wait, can a mason be the vigilante, or a cop?  I don't think there are dual roles, there were exactly 14 roles and 14 people before doubled names were removed). 

Dr.Nervioso, if you bled when you shaved like I do, you'd have  beard, too.  And it's only itchy if you don't keep it clean...

I'm clean!  I'm clean!   (oooh, double entendre, and it's not even sexual!) 

I agree Gareth probably got whacked because he was acting out, I'm sure the mafia thought he was covering something up; but since he wasn't revealed to be the vigilante or a cop or even a mason, it all must have been a ruse.  But here we seem to be going the other way, thinking that people who are quiet are covering something up.  But even idontunderstand didn't feel right about his vote. 

*sigh*.  We're going to wake up tomorrow to another death (probably two), and we've really got nothing to go on.  All we can do at this point is hope we're lucky enough to take out a mafiosi. 

But I'm going to make it a real race, and nominate the one person who hasn't felt the need to defend themselves - I move we take Whitey Fats out back.
