It was a term used by some friends who had a small farm whenever they needed to slaughter an animal. 


One day, my daughter was grumpy and complaining about how crummy she felt.  My wife called (she'd been out running around), and told me to get her ready and outside to take her to a doctor's appointment that had been made on the fly earlier that day.  When I told her to get ready, she asked why, where were we going? 


I told her "out back", since my wife was pulling the car up near the back door. 



She looked horrified, and I suddenly realized what I'd said...

But honestly, we need a strategy.

Yeah, it really doesn't feel right to just randomly pick someone without anything to base such an accusation on.

maybe we can figure out a way to lynch people systematically so as to flush the mob out of hiding?

Problem is, the first person to come up with a strategy will probably get to sleep with the fishes...
