So I'm quitting smoking
de_la_Nae:
Availability might be part of the reason, though their success is fixing that problem.
Might be that he has some concerns that they're somehow worse for him. I wouldn't know why, but I haven't done the research; also look at vaccination-fearers.
Also might be he doesn't find them satisfying enough for some reason, psychologically? Honestly I don't really have the context to make the call.
Patrick:
I don't find the damn things very satisfying at all but they help a hair.
I'm down to 4 a day with the exception of yesterday, since it was my Saint's day and all.

Today my aunt is celebrating one year since she smoked her last real cigarette! :-) She's using e-cigs now but it's still damn impressive because she's one of those people who'd smoked since forever.
Thrillho:
So with my shitty new manager I don't have the willpower to just quit outright like I did a few weeks back, so I've got a new method - only taking one to work with me to force me to cut down because I barely smoke at home, and then I can work to stopping later.
Redball:
Stick to it, Gareth. If you're down to 1 or 2 a day, quitting should be easier.
