So I'm quitting smoking
Game and Watch Forever:
Congrats Gareth!
Patrick, it sounds like you have every reason to want to quit. What do you think got you back on your usual rate? As I believe others noted, it's not necessarily bad to fall off the wagon as long as you can identify what caused it and take steps to keep it from getting you again.
Carl-E:
I'm guessing it's mostly the stress from the non-job. With it's non-pay.
Understandable, but you're definitely stronger than that. It's a coping habit, and you fell back into it. Now it's time to climb back up and out, focusing on the job search and what's next instead of dwelling on the c*nt who's shafting you.
You can do it. You're a fucking genius, don't t let some plant rule your life.
Patrick:
Carl-E, you're right, it's a coping habit. And it's stupid, because I don't have the money for it. Stupid stupid. I know I can do better than this.
Bluesummers:
I know you can do it, Pat. If my 76-year-old grandmother who smoked for over 60 years can quit cold-turkey, so can you. ;D
Also, she's been off cigs for about 5 years now, and she's not dead yet. Really racist, but not dead.
de_la_Nae:
There we go, it's just about transference! So we'll replace your smoking cravings with delicious, delicious racis....waitaminute. :psyduck:
