Would they even give warnings for those conditions up there? I thought they just called it "a normal day."

2 inches of snow last night.  Rain all day.  Freezing rain now. 

The world looks like a glazed donut, and is just about as slick as can be. 


At midnight I get to go pick up my daughter from work...  :-D

So apparently my university's philosophy is "most people left for break already, let the rest fend for themselves," because roads on campus are neither salted nor plowed.

I admire this Darwinian policy on the part of your University. Avoids law suits for the most part while producing stronger graduates by killing off the weak ones.

cesium133:
The roads here are never salted or plowed, because the city and the university don't have any plows or salt spreaders.
