I've not only seen people dropping acid in the stacks, I was an offender... but you needed multiple choices, because I've seen sex in the stacks and drinking (not sodas), swordfights, and all sorts of unusual behaviour.
Then again, the Purdue library stacks used to comprise 5 densely packed floors, and it's really impossible to tell what the fuck's going on in there.

Mine is a boring life: I cannot recall having seen anything I'd call weird at a library.

Nothing weird unfortunately, but I have just this week seen a photo of a sign allegedly placed in a library stating that various Lance Armstrong books were to be moved to the fiction section.
