So hey guys
Long time no see
I'm in Colorado for the summer
I got decent grades (As and Bs except for one C)
I want this summer to go by fast so I can go back to Indiana
And I'm pretty horny
Yeah I think that's everything
Welcome back!!
Welu- that is most definitely not your fault. Why on Earth would they think you would come to work an hour before your class is even over?
Primo- Nick has achilles tendonitis and it SUCKS. Try to remember to stretch before any physical activity- no matter how small. Check out your shoes too- worn out shoes or ones not meant for walking long distances will only put more stress on it. Nick bought a new pair of sneakers and his pain went away almost instantly.
So guys, I'm getting married in 11 freaking days. Whaaaaaaaaaat. Everyone keeps asking if I'm nervous and I'm really not....I'm starting to feel like I
should be nervous! I'm not worried at all about getting/being married, mainly about getting everything done in the next 11 days (and hey- after that, maybe I'll post about something other than gettin' hitched!). I've done some more fun projects that I'll (hopefully) be posting (eventually). And I finally completed the two tasks that were stressing me out the most! I finally decided on a pair of shoes (let's just hope they are actually at the store when I go to pick them up tonight!) and my dad and I picked out a song.
It took forever to figure something out and after a while I started to get frustrated. I made him a CD for Christmas last year and asked him to pick something out for us to dance to. Well....after asking him every month if he listened to his CD, I'd always get the same answer- nope. There was always an excuse "I don't have speakers on my computer", "the speakers on the other computer suck", no time, don't feel like it, etc, etc. I started to get discouraged and think that he didn't really care what we danced to. Finally, I went to my parents' house on Sunday for Mothers' Day and I found out that yes, my dad didn't listen to the CD I made him- he looked up some of the songs and listened to them online. And on top of that, he has been scouring the net for other songs. He downloaded at least 20 different songs, went through like, 6 different lists of father/daughter tunes....I seriously almost cried. He spent just as much time trying to find a song- if not more- than I did! Throughout this process, I've also confirmed where I get my obsessive behaviors from....
We came up with a backup song (Unforgettable) but it just wasn't doing it for us, so we spent all last night on the phone going over more songs that I found yesterday and we finally decided on
Midnight Lullaby by Tom Waits.
I have easily spent 40+ hours trying to find a pair of shoes for the wedding and I am fully aware of how insane that makes me sound. I wanted shoes with all of the wedding colors in them, studded shoes, a pair from Iron Fist (*drooooool*), navy slingbacks, white cage/gladiators....then I just gave up and said "anything white and funky" and then I found
these. The only issue that I had with them was that my mom is wearing silver shoes for the wedding and I wanted to wear something that no one else would be wearing. And then I realized that those were amazing and comfortable and kick-ass and it's actually kind of cute that my mom and I will be wearing the same color shoe. Plus, I'll be removing the ribbon that they come with and replacing it with a satin navy ribbon for my "something blue".
The only big things left are the centerpieces, corsages/bouts, choosing the cake, sending an email with hairstyles to my hair lady, the itinerary/program and packaging up the gifts for my bridesmaids. Weeeeeeeeee.
