--- Quote from: Uniquitous on 27 Jan 2013, 16:52 ---Wha't's a four-letter word that refers to a woman, ending with the letters UNT?
...
Give up? It's "Aunt!"
Why, what were you thinking?

--- End quote ---
I was thinking it's rude to call a woman a runt.

--- Quote from: RedWolf4 on 27 Jan 2013, 19:41 ---The last student is a woman. She takes her gun and goes through, and for a few minutes there isn't a sound and her instructors figure she's failed as well. Then suddenly someone screams and shot after shot rings out, followed by a long series of thumps and crashes. The woman comes out on the other side, finally, spattered in blood and gore.
"What happened?!" Ask her instructors.
"Well, some idiot filled that gun with blanks, so I had to beat my husband to death with the chair."

--- End quote ---
I don't find misandry any funnier than misogyny. Firefox spellcheck flagging it is also disturbing.

MD B S, I find your sentence spacing curious. What is your reasoning in this digital age?

Is it cold in here?:

--- Quote from: MillionDollar Belt Sander on 27 Jan 2013, 21:51 ---Is it me or does anyone see Claire gradually slipping into the role once occupied by Faye.   Friend, partner, provider of punchlines.

--- End quote ---

I think you're on to something. It's likely that Claire needs a level-headed good friend, and Marten always needs someone to confront him.

If the wedding's tomorrow, that would fit the family pattern of never planning ahead that Dora commented on.

***PLOT ALERT PLOT ALERT***

IF THIS WERE A REAL PLOT ALERT YOU WOULD BE DIRECTED TO A CEMETERY'S MARKETING WEB SITE.

INSTEAD THIS IS JUST A BAD PUN. YOU SAID TO BE PUNNY QUICK RIGHT?

***PUN  ALERT PUN  ALERT***

I'm very tired

It is an oddity of the particular and rather...     shall I say PECULIAR input method I have chosen.    That is if you refer to the odd spacings around punctuation.    I am testing a speech to text program developed by a friend of mine.    For some reason when I dump the text into this forum I get odd spacing around punctuations.

I choose to break up my thoughts line by line,   into smaller paragraphs because it just looks right to me.    No other reason.
