Ok, since it's tied and we've got to come to a decision soon, I'm voting Gareth. I don't think Unicorn is nearly as suspicious, and while I kind of still doubt that Gareth is guilty of murder, I'm worried about what he'll do if he starts feeling peckish while the rest of us are asleep.

i'm fine with being detained if the door locks from the inside, too
but i'm also not offering myself up, so i vote to detain gareth

On one hand, Gareth is being really creepy. On the other hand, if Unicorn is locked out then my weed will last longer...

After several hours of deliberation, the group decided to lock Gareth up for the night while they looked for any evidence. Though the campus lacks any sort of cell, there are a couple of disused storage units in the basement. Despite his protests, Gareth is thrown into one of the units and given a heavy parka to keep him warm.
Unsure what to do with Linds body, the group decide to place her remains in the other unit as a makeshift morgue.
Still suspicious, the group splits up to search Gareth's room and the rest of campus for clues or evidence. Hopefully there will be some answers for this tragedy in the morning.
