Age Roll Call
jwhouk:
How many poll options are allowed, if I may ask? I could do one that has two options each, but it'd probably mean I'd have to have 35 options.
EDIT: Oooooh. I can do 36 options.
Okay, let's try this one again, people. Poll is of the age you are NOW, not the age you WILL BE at the end of the year.
pwhodges:
I don't know if there's limit; but I really wouldn't bother to redo this poll. It's interesting, but no more accurate than any self-selecting sample might be. For instance, there are many more people visiting this forum than have voted, but I'm pretty sure all the over-65s are included (I know of one other who came, but he didn't stay).
(edit) There may be many people who don't revisit this thread, and so don't get the hint to vote again.
jwhouk:
Eh, I've already changed it, and the 70 persons who voted in the previous poll gave us a good idea about the age of regulars.

66 (me), 72 (Celticgeek), 76 (Redball); now you can do more maths.

Thanks. With the added info, the total mean/standard deviation is now 31.1±14.2, and the older peak is 52.4±10.0.
Loki:
*headscratch* why not just poll the birthyears instead of age? Age changes, years of birth remain forever.
