Mini Painting!

GarandMarine:
Yar, like I said personal preference, I would try to work in a tan/yellow to give them a slightly aged look.

TheEvilDog:
Hmm, just saw that Avatars of War are almost finished with their own version of Witch Elves. Should make for a better value alternative to the GW ones.

Neko_Ali:
Small point value games can be a lot of fun. My FLGS and the girl gaming group I am in are hosting an Escalation League going over the next several months. We just had our opening event this Saturday and had a really nice turn out. We are starting at 500 point forces, working our way up 2500 points in 40K over the next few months. Over the course of a few hours I was able to get in 3 500 point games and a game of Warmachine. So they tend to play quicker, and you have to think a bit more about how you want your army to play and focus, instead of taking the best of what your list can field. I am also looking forward to getting Kill Team and playing some games of that for the same reason. I enjoy smaller skirmish scale games somewhat more than gigantic mega-battles.

Painting wise, my Eldar are coming along nicely (for the mentioned league). I was able to pick up a Wave Serpent this weekend, I am looking forward to adding that to my army when we go up to 750 points. I did see a picture recently that made me kind of which I had picked Chaos instead though. It was titled the 'Sisters of Khorne', looked to be kind of a Sisters of Battle meets Chaos. Though they did go for the 'scantily clad and sexy' style... Personally were I to make such a force I would rather see more 'angry, badass bitch' a look, as appropriate to Khorne Bezerkers. But I was thinking a mix of Sisters, Witch Elves, daemonettes and other manufacturer's stuff could be converted to make an awesome all-female Khorne army.

Jotunheim:
Can I prime a resin mini with standard GW chaos black primer?

Grognard:
I usually prime all of my minis, resin or hard plastic or metal with Krylon ColorMaster Primer.

However, with the crappy weather, I can't primer outside.
And indoor priming is NOT allowable by the mistress of the house.

So what do y'all recommend for brush on primers?
