Author Topic: Can I make a suggestion about how the comic is archived?  (Read 3751 times)

I've been a huge fan of QC for years (pretty much read it every weekday), and sometimes I find myself wanting to read back some of the noteworthy moments in the story (like how dora finally got hooked up with marten, or hanners first introduced herself to marten, or when dora and marten broke up), but it's so hard trying to sift through thousands of of strips guessing which one was about which.

Would it be too much to suggest that somebody make a list of milestones or noteworthy moments in the archive section, so that it'll be much easier to look through the archives for a specific strip. Like maybe, listing things like "Marigold makes a debut", or "Sven cheated on Faye", or "Raven invents the Submacopter" or something like that.

Well, in many cases, significant events may be linked from the character's page on the wiki. That's always my first port of call before an archive dive.

Not to mention the strip by strip summaries, are often useful for this.

Note that if you want to make a suggestion to Jeph himself about the comic website you should contact him via the email address on the contact page, or via his tumblr.  He hardly ever comes to the forum these days.

Jeph commissioned a full-text transcript of all the comics for his own use last year and made some positive sounds about making it available publicly, but it apparently hasn't risen to the top of his list.

Cristi, Shelby and Roswell take turns exchanging the numbers 1-3 spot.
