The village woke early the next day to a savage shriek coming from one of the houses close to the square. Gareth ran out of his abode, yelling, "They tried to kill me! They tried to kill me!" When asked what he saw, he only noted that there were a few figures hidden by cloaks watching, but a large and rather furry beast was the one who tried to attack him. Somehow the power of true love had protected an unassuming townsperson.

*climbs out a window* Well I'm glad the barricade worked.

So...we're being hunted by the Big Bad Wolf? I guess I'm chunky enough to be a Little Pig. :/

C'mon Gareth, tell me you got some clue, somethin'.

that aint gonna stop no big bad wolf. he'll just huff & he'll puff, then he'll blow your barricaded house in!

we need us a huntsman. or failing that, a lynch mob!

those are basically the same thing right?

And how do you know so much about wolves?

On a side note I guess lynching Gareth is probably out of the question.

I'm gonna go with a hunch to start this day off, let's lynch Loki! (god I can't resist alliteration sometimes).

It does look like Gareth is the safest right now (unless he can be turned to evil/controled by evil)

De La Nae, why do you think we should lynch loki?

I don't remember much. In a situation like that things happen so fast. I just remember fur and... blood... and... horror... and a sense of familiarity when I looked in the eyes of a beast. And that familiarity tells me we should lynch Loki.

Goddammit people. I was still busy mourning for that villager girl and how we were so blind to lynch her, and now this? I don't deserve to be killed, particularly not based on "hunches" and "senses". What's gotten into you, de_la_Nae?

...okay, but don't blame me when this gets you killed.

Prince – You are looking for your true love, with nothing but a glass slipper in your hands. You must do it covertly, since you suspect s/he is a peasant girl (or possibly boy). Once per night, you investigate one of the villagers, having a 50% chance to discover whether they have any special roles in the process. However, when you find the girl (or boy) you are looking for, you will recognize her or him immediately.

(I don't know what will happen then).

My first investigation was J, which turned up with nothing. de_la_Nae, you showed up as a special role, and given that you accuse me out of nothing, and the abundance of evil that has befallen the city, I am strongly inclined to think you are evil.

Balanced votes don't lead to stalemates in this game. It leads to random number generator. Right now, we have Loki claiming a special role and accusing de_la_nae of having one as well. Both want to lynch each other. Gareth allegedly survived an attack yesterday but isn't sure who his attacker is.

I'll withhold my vote until there's a bit more to go on. de_la_Nae, the mob awaits your defense.

Indeed. I wasn't specifically trying to balance it. I was hoping to get someone to either change their vote or someone else to add a vote to prevent Loki from being killed.

Fuck. Fine! Retract my vote for Loki.

Mistakes were made. I *really* appreciate you blowing my cover, thanks a lot I guess.

Yeah, fine. I've got a special role. It's a weird one though, it's...well, weird.

In addition, once a day you may give me a message to secretly pass to a player of your choosing.

I haven't bothered yet because I hadn't found out anything. Dice don't care for me, apparently.

Speaking of dice not caring for me, I'm still willing to throw myself on their mercy against an unknown instead of against a Prince. So for now vote for cesium133.

I really don't think that we should lynch any of those three. Loki and De La Nae (assuming that they're telling the truth) shouldn't be targeted, and cesium just hasn't seemed like a killer to me.

idk. This is just me going by gut instinct. If we tie the votes then one of them definitely dies, which helps the wolf faction.

I feel like Method of Madness has been very quiet lately.

Oh, and just to make it clear to you fuckin' dwarves that I'm not bullshitting about my role, here it is:

Quote
Snow White – You are the nicest of the nice, the sweetest of the sweet. Luckily you have discovered that cleaning house for dwarves is really boring and you want to use your powers of good for actual good! Once per night, you may bless another character with the magic of true love, which will protect them from any harm. There is also a 10% chance when you use your powers to save another person, you might be able to protect yourself as well. However, when protecting only yourself, your powers are not as effective and there is a 25% chance that your true love will not be effective against an attack. If you by chance protect your Evil Stepmother, there is a 5% chance that she will be able to poison you, but this time the poison will not put you to sleep, it will slowly kill you and you will die the next night. Sadly, you will not realize your mistake until night has fallen.

Though I am rather suspicious of Method of Madness right now, actually...

* shrug* I think its an interesting development in the game, that so many people have revealed their identities and can now form a solid voting bloc. It gives the good guys a solid chance to win (in my opinion)

I don't particularly want to be lynched for talking strategy, and honestly, if I was on the side of evil I would want cesium to be killed. We know cesium is a good guy and people still have cast votes to lynch them, which makes no sense unless the person casting votes was confused or evil.

We don't even know if all of those are real roles in the game, let alone whether these people actually have those roles. And revealing them seems negligent when the murderers can now just systematically dismantle them.
